Our recent stay at the Disneyland Hotel was AHmazing! It’s retro Disney/ California vibes and I was loving every second of it while there.

The Hotel

I was in the lobby no less then 10 minutes before I was greeted by my pal, Goofy! I mean, what better way to start off your Disney vacation?!

Disneyland Hotel has three towers of rooms with varying views. The Adventure Tower, the Frontier Tower and the Fantasy Tower. There’s 2 retro-themed pools and 2 waterslides in the center of the hotel towers.

Dining
In the pool area you’ll find Trader Sam’s Enchated Tiki Bar and Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill.
Don’t leave without stopping for a spiked Dole whip!

Start your day off with a cup of coffee from The Coffee House. Then head next door to catch breakfast (or dinner) with Goofy & friends at Goofy’s Kitchen. Dine in an Old Hollywood atmosphere at Steakhouse 55 or enjoy a nightcap at The Lounge at Steakhouse 55.

The Room

We stayed in the Fantasy Tower, which is the main building with the lobby. In the Fantasy Tower you’ll also find small world Gifts & Sundries, and Disney’s Fantasia gift shop. This tower is closet to the Coffee House and Goofy’s Kitchen.
Our room slept four and had a view of the parking lot. To our surprise, even with a parking lot view, we were still able to watch the firework show from the comfort of our room. On the rooms TV you can also select the special channel to listen along to the music that plays with the fireworks show!
The best part of the room…. the headboard’s fireworks light up and play the “when you wish upon a star” melody! And what about those pillows?!

If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland soon I highly recommend staying here! The hotel not only has great views and amenities, but most importantly it’s just a few steps from Downtown Disney; and just a few minutes walk to both Disneyland & California Adventure parks.
